5,200 kilometers, many months on a rowing boat of Viking origin, day and night, 1 million rows between the Rhine and the Danube, from the English Channel to the Black Sea; helping him - through 15 countries, from London to Istanbul, passing through England, France, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey - there were only the wind and a sail. All this to tell a new relationship with nature, with water, with rivers.

It is the feat accomplished in three stages, from 2010 to 2012, by Giacomo De Stefano, originally from Asti but Venetian by adoption.

On his journey, Giacomo also traced the path to a new world, the road to new economic opportunities, a more respectful and sustainable tourism, proving that not only can one travel while respecting nature, but that this form of tourism is immensely richer in emotions and satisfaction.
